For anyone who knows about iPod mini's; How long is the battery supposed to last? I've only had mine 8 months and its already fading, it konks out after about 2 hours. Very annoying. Do I have to send away for a new battery?

I'd say contact Apple, thats a bit soon for such a decrease, they may replace it for you.

that will learn ya.... buying apple products! Apparently there are a range of rc planes that use same batts as ipod and will last longer! Google it!
