Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

And what's your problem? Can I not have an opinion on your taste in movies?

Honestly, this board would be dull as hell if everyone just nodded and agreed. So you can whinge and say "What's your problem/That's my opinion" (Which is obvious due to the fact that you were the one who said it. Who else's opinion would it be?) or you can actually engage in some form of discussion.

    ^^^^^^^^^^^

I know people are gonna differ on things, hell people have listed other films on this that i cant stand but i didnt jump on em over it. If you wanted to have "some form of discussion" then why didnt you say why you didnt like those films (which we know your well able to do.)

I just found it to be a trollish comment, especially coming from a mod.

My favorites would have to include Team America, Southpark movie, Family Guy movie, Scary Movie 1 and 3, Shaun of the Dead, most of the Monty Python movies and there were quite a few good John Candy comedys back in the day too so I'll say Uncle Buck.

I wouldn't be able to pick out one as the best, as comedys wouldn't be my favorite movie style anyway. But of that lot above I'd say Shaun of the Dead for shear comic stupidity, and entertainment value too.

Is there another film called 'Anchorman' besides the one with Will Ferrel? I saw that one last night and it was completely guff, not a smirkable moment the whole way through.
There has to be strong drugs involved in enjoying that surely?

    Blues Brothers tbh.

Nothing even comes close, although I have other fave comedies, in terms of pure genius it's in a league of its own. Script is just top-class, and the cast is unparalleled, esp with all the cameos (My mate wouldn't believe me for ages when I told him Spielberg was in it, for example, and it's one of his favourite films too! :D ).

    Just fantastic.

Everyone seems to have forgotten the funniest movie of all time, titanic..

ya know at the end where she says "i'll never let you go" and then she practically kicks him in the head to get rid of him and sink the frozen bastid?

    I laughed my ass off...

Especially when the whole three hours of the movie seemed to boil down to the moral "Never trust a woman"...
