Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Big Star frontman Alex Chilton is missing in New Orleans I hope he is found soon he would be a great loss to music

    Big Star have a new album out soon, what are the odds he shows up after the album has hit the shops.
    He's probably chillin' out in his publicists house right now.

    what is it with Big Star and albums? the first one (#1 Record) gets p1ss poor distribution, no-one buys the second one (Radio City), and the third one (Sister Lovers) was never finished (no final tracklisting). Whats the bets every copy of the fourth one (In Space), bar promos, was sitting in a warehouse in New Orleans? with Alex Chilton hired as a security guard to watch over them and they only realised he was missing when they went to get the CDs....

    ... just a thought!
