Lumines high score thread ?

Good idea or no ?

I only got the game yesterday, my high score is around 28,000. I know this is most likely fairly ****

what are yours ?

I recently heard that you get a 1000 point bonus each time you clear the screen of all of a single color of blocks and a 10000 bonus for completely clearing the screen. Handy.

Eyes bled for 2 days after it, staring at the screen for hours straight cause if you put it in to sleep mode and take a break when you come back and finish it wont let you save it. I think I read somewhere that they changed it for the euro version though.

293,000 or there abouts at the moment. Took a good hour or so and was getting bored so packed it in by giving it to the girlfriend. Next day I will sit myself down with a few bananas and drinks and go for the 500k

Just over 40,000. Nice and easy up to about 28K mark, after that I start feeling the strain and fall apart. What about Vs Comp mode. Best I can do is level 4.

Just broke the 100K mark...so tough to get past that Darkness by the River skin.

How does the puzzle mode work exactly? I've got the Japanese game and the manual ain't too useful.

You make the shapes it asks you to before the limit runs out...but it won't let you do it if touching blocks are the same colour, or something...I've done the first 3 shapes but after that I can't get anywhere...

I got it there on Friday and wow it's good fun. Played it for about 4 hours then woke up at 7.30 and started playing it again. Bloody addictive stuff and have to say this'll be the game that you'll come back to time and time again when the others have been completed. So simple but yet affective. Anyway, my top score is 46,000 or there abouts, got that the first night of playing it and haven't been able to reach it since.
