I just got Battlefield the other day but it's not running so smoothly. The demo ran perfect, graphics were great. But now it gets a bit blotchy at times, with the scenery/people cutting in and out every so often. Sometimes I can even see behind an object and see a person behind it.

I've tried the different video settings but to no avail...

    Whats your pc spec?
    Have you the patches installed?
Are your graphics card drivers up to date?

Not my pc, but here's a few things :

    Athlon 3200+
    Radeon 9800 Pro

Patches not installed but that wouldn't make the difference

Its your ATI drivers. I had the same trouble when I bought the game. I was using Omega, then tried some old ATi drivers still no good. Now on later or latest version and its fine.

    Same thing for me.
I uninstalled my 9800pro and rebooted to re-install, then updated the drivers as per that link.

    Same problem on single player.
Funny thing is, until I tried to update my drivers the other day everything was working as per normal which sucks

Everything is fine for a while ingame and then everything goes wonky...
    Any ideas?

Installing driver can be a pain all, but Nvidia recommends that you completely uninstal the previuos ones first completely and even delete the nvidia folder !! reboot , then turn off your firewall and virusguard and then instal.......

    give it a bash !

I had the same probalem but sorted itself out after a complete free driver instal

Radeon 9800pro is ATI not Nvidia..
But I'll try that method out...

    Still the same crap.
    This is melting my head....

Uninstalled the card, deleted the ATI folder.
Rebooted, which installed the card, then installed latest ATI drivers..
    Reboot again... same thing...
