Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

hrmmmm. They are showing a Shinya Tsukamoto(Vital) film.
man, his movies are so ****ed up, why cant they show something somewhat sane from japan.
Hana and Alice would have been a nice pick from 2004.

and they are showing two films by 'Su-chang Kong' , who I havn't heard of before, and nothing from Ki-duk Kim :/

And No 'Sympathy for Lady Vengeance'
    boohoo
    /me cries.

damn, arn't I grumpy. Abnormal Beauty sounds really interesting though, I must go along to that, I guess Ill catch Tell Me Something or r-point too.
we should go along to some of these and drink beer afterwards.

i have a few o these already.... R-Point, Another Public Enemy, One Night in Mongkok.

one nite is a little old at this stage. but it is a good film. i am not too keen on the main actor, he annoys me in most of the films i have seen him in i dont know why. as always even though i have seenn them on vcd/dvd i will go watch them on the big screen as it is always enjoyable..... hope to see some good replies when everyone else sees them. maybe we could set up polls or something for each film to see how people respond...

For point of reference, the six movies are playing out over two weeks - which is not the way it was before, when we got a new movie every second week. This means it's more of a proper festival but might make it more difficult to see unless, as designed, you see all 3 in one day. The schedule is (yay me for doing this!):

    WEEK 1 [4/11 - 10/11]

    R-Point -

    4/11 - 5/11 [Friday/Saturday]: 11:45am, 9pm
    6/11 [Sunday]: 6pm
    7/11 - 8/11 [Monday-Tue]: 3pm
    9/11 [Wed]: 6pm
    10/11 [Thursday]: 3pm

    ****************

    One Night in Mongkok

    4/11 - 5/11 [Friday/Saturday]: 6pm
    6/11 [Sunday]: 3pm
    7/11 - 8/11 [Monday-Tue]: 11:45am, 9pm
    9/11 [Wed]: 3pm
    10/11 [Thursday]: 11:45am, 9pm

    ****************

    Tell Me Something

    4/11 - 5/11 [Friday/Saturday]: 3pm
    6/11 [Sunday]: 6pm
    7/11 - 8/11 [Monday-Tue]: 3pm
    9/11 [Wed]: 11:45am, 9pm
    10/11 [Thursday]: 6pm

    WEEK 2 [11/11 - 17/11]

    Another Public Enemy -

    11/11 - 12/11 [Friday/Saturday]: 11:45am, 9pm
