Windows 64 and everything computer related

    I installed windows x64 last night on my new machine and im getting some weird stuff happening..

    When i load CounterSrike Source i can hop right into a server and start playing grand - no problems. When i try load counterstrike 1.6, i get an error saying my gfx card wont support the video settings i want (800x600 openGL). My machine is a 3500+ with a pci-e geforce 6800gt.

    i cant find drivers for anything! Im looking for drivers for my Microsoft intelli explorer 3.0 and there is nothing!

    Should i just go back to 32bit windows xp?

    It can only get better.... right?

    You can run apps in native 32bit mode as far as I know in the WOW64 namespace.

    One of the problems at the moment with the 64 bit systems is that the drivers for 64bit arent always obtainable. Or else they are in beta.

    As far making it work.. do you need to be running 64bit XP at the moment and do you have all the drivers for your system. If you can answer yes to both questions.. then happy days. Otherwise revert back to Win32 untill your drivers come around (tho dont nVidia have 64bit drivers???)
