Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Extending netopia wireless

I want to setup a wireless connection through 4 concrete walls. Can I connect a higher db antennae to the eircom netopia wireless router? and use anther high db antennae on the receiver end.

Your going to need to solder into the connection on the board as the there is only a dipole antenna on the Netopia i have(assumeing you have the same 1).

i dont see an external Antenna connection on mine or a way to remove the standard one

Can be done but be carefull

If you have the broadband plus the aerial can be screwed off and replaced..
The Netopia 3347NWG has a screwable aerial that can be replaced with a high gain one no?
