What age will you be when you're doing the LC?

I'll be 17 this february, so I'll be 17 when doing the LC. Is that too young to be doing the LC? I know someone who will be 17 2 weeks before the leaving cert. What age will you all be when you do the leaving cert?

That other yoke might have been "what age will you be leaving school?" so although they're the same effectively, the title is different.

and then I turned 17 for my written exams...

i dont really think age has anything to do with it...wel when i say that i mean, 15 or 16 is very young to do the leaving but 20 is grand!

There's no A Level thread so I'll just jump in here.

I was 17 for AS(1st half of the exams that are done in year 12 aka 5th year), 18 for A2(2nd half of the exams that are done in year 13 aka 6th year).

What age will you be when you're doing the LC?
