    I demand a Steve-Land area :)

doods, I made that map sometime in 2003 :)

You may not have noticed the entirely different forum structure... :O

Heh, thanks. I won't be doing another one; around the time I made it boards.ie had a relatively static structure, but there's huge changes happening all the time now, no sooner than it was made it would be out of date :)

Though the thought of writing a script to dynamically generate the map based on the live forum structure interests me, so I might give that a go some time.

Goodness, that's an interesting (and time consuming) idea. We could have it as a site map.

I like the concept, though it would be hard to maintain considering the regular change in forum locations / amount.

If it, for some strange reason, get's a go ahead I'd throw in some help :D
Any kind of map would be interesting and rather useful, when it comes to newblood registering.

A problem I find here is that people either sign up here for a particular forum or two and never really familiarise themselves with what else is out there in the big bad world of Boards. I'm still only learning now, after being a member for five years

One example being the DoW forum in the hosted section when (Granted it isn't majorly popular at the moment) it comes under the Games heading. People may assume that forums of interest to them may not exist if not found under their respective headings.

If not a map, how about some form of list? I know one exists, but it might be nice creating some form of picture :)
