    Jape

The music of Jape is a breath of fresh air to the smoggy atmosphere of Dublin. The first album "Cosmosphere" which was released on the Volta Sounds label showed his experimental side and sense of humor with stoner folk and 8 bit electronics rubbing shoulders with friendly ease. It caught the attention of some notable reviewers and deejays with Donal Dineen from Today FM playing it off the air on the show, "Here Comes the Night".

Jape's new album "The Monkeys In The Zoo Have More Fun Than Me" is now available on Trust me I'm a Thief. The album was produced by Jimmy Eadie in Dublin. This album shows a more thoughtful side to Jape's music. This album is preceded by a radio promo single "Floating", co-produced with David Kitt which melds mortality blues, hip hop and gregorian chants to head bopping affect and is proving to be something of an underground hit with club deejays playing it out and getting all sorts of amazing reactions.

"You'll reference quirky bits of stereolab, Kraftwerk and Yo La Tengo and if you have any sense you'll recognise this for what it is: a fully formed class act, with Egan as a cult figure surely bound for crossover success" - Irish Times

    Groom

Groom play an eclectic mix of progressive rock, electronic, synth-pop and folk. Formed out of the ashes of alt pop band Settler, the sound has been described as "like descending a wooden staircase on your ass - bumpy". So there you go. To wit: Mike and Wilbert from Settler were joined in a practice room by electronic wiz LMD64 and drummer and Pantera enthusiast El Flatulo in 2004. It was a curious mix. Time hasn't made it any less curious. With one electropop album, Stitch, and a remix EP, The Groom and Wave EP, as well as some rather distinguished videos and even an Irish tour already under their belts, Groom are presently recording a new album. And buying new belts.

    The Shells

The Shells live for this gig are the singer-songwriting talents of Mexican Pets founder Pat Clafferty, together with a cellist, a violinist, and a laptop.

    Panda Kopanda

Hailing from NI, Panda Kopanda formed from the remnants of Miasma, Cleverdoll and Mandelbrot Set in 2002, and has gigged throughout Ireland and Scotland. Despite some independent and major label interest, they have stuck with the DIY ethos, recording at home and releasing 'The letting Go EP' via their friends at Howl Records.
