Best Credit Card for balance transfer.

Im looking to transfer a balance of €2500 to a new card. My question is, what sort of credit limit should I get on a new card? Is it different for different banks? I dont want to go to the hassle of applying for one, getting it, and then find out its limit is €1000. My income is under 25k so I cant apply for certain ones…
