Tongue Orbital

It wasn't me!

Haven't heard of this being done before. Thought it might be interesting. Giving it serious tought at the moment, so just want to ask a thing or two. How plausible is it? Would it be troublesome healing-wise? I imagine the most sensible option would be to heal it as two single tongue piercings and then put in the ring afterwards, or would it make a difference? Anything else I should take into account with this?

nice idea dave, i think ive seen that somewhere before, tbh i cant see the attraction in it, i dont think it would have the same,err, satisfaction that a barbell(or two barbells) would provide to your lady-friend .

I would think you may have to watch exactly where second piercing goes in as taste buds could be affected. I concidered this about 6 years ago and was advised against it.

Since when is any piercing's sole purpose for sexual stimulation. Personally I don't think a tongue bar makes difference for male or female really. It wouldn't be the reason i'd get the piercing anyway.

Original poster, I think it's quite unique. Go and have a chat with Rob in snakebite and if he gives it the goahead well then go for it.

I have a friend who has three bars in a straight row down her tongue and she didn't experience any problems with her taste buds. Looks wicked too, and she gets a great reaction from the guys.

^^ I've been thinking of doing that..I have a centre tongue piercing and I want two more...but I can't decide on what to do..it's either gonna be two more in a straight line, or two vipers as well as the one I have now..
it's good to know that your friend didn't have problems with it though..

Would it be possible to have it done horizontally, as opposed to down the middle of the tongue? I know Krispie got a tongue frenum a while back, but I don't know if it'd be the same.

Wow. I'd love to be able to get the vipers, but I've got damn veins in the wrong places, so I've just got the one in the middle. It looks damn kewl, espically with a central lip piercing like a spike.

Do you mean a tongue surface piercing or a horizontal ?

yeah, I think I'll probably get them, in the next few weeks...although, getting vipers will probably be worse for my teeth, then if I just got another two in the centre...I'll talk to my piercer about it..Saying that, I'm a little bit apprehensive about what it'll be like kissing someone, when I have three tongue piercings...guess, I'll just have to wait and see

Thanks Shazbot. I'm not sure if we're talking about the same thing, but the help is appreciated. What I'm talking about is an orbital that doesn't go vertically down the middle of the tongue, but across it. I think a lot of the points from tha last link will have to be taken into consideration. I'll have a chat with a piercer next time I'm in town.
