Computer Soceity?

    Is anyone here a member of the WIT computer soceity? and if you are, or if you know, what do those lads/gals get up to....nothing at all / some techy things / or just talk about how the super nintendo was like soooo far ahead of its time as a gaming console...

    The reason i'm asking is because i want to get into linux a bit more and learn about linux servers, all that stuff. Its not really touched on in college as they are windows based so its probably the only viable option regarding learning more?

    Im doing Applied Computing and id love to do non-course stuff like Linux and PHP etc.

    I dont know much at the mo, but if there aint one, there should be one D:

    Getting members was never that big a problem, getting them to actully be involved was very hard.

    College wont allow IRC through the firewall, u either have to have an account and use IRC from a shell or be inside the college.
