Is this for real? Links/pictures? Or should it have been moved to TCN?

    It's unreal if you like.

outside the Stephen's Green Shopping Centre main door.

daft looking thing. a ten foot rabbit with huge buttocks and a dog standing on a tyre hugging each other.

yes please would somebody explain what the heck that statue is supposed to represent, because I personally think it's horrible looking and would love to know who decided to put it there!

It's been there for good while now.

I think it's pretty cool to see a rabbit and a dog getting it on.

The rabbit looks absolutely nothing like Frank from Donnie Darko though.

he's not exactly Bugs Bunny either !

I think its actually a rabit and a mouse.

Its supposed to represent FF and the PDs relationship.

It's a "Lady hare & a dog" created by Sophie Rider.
I think it's only going to be there until the end of this month, wonder where they'll move it to after that!

Dublin City Council put it up in June (I think) in a "bringing art to public places" theme.

I think it's great - really different, makes people stop for a look.

Oh wow... so here we are debating whether one of them is a dog, a rat or a mouse and it turns out the other one isn't actually a rabbit after all.

I was told it was a greyhound and a hare "reconciling" or whatever - y'know the entire greyhound chases hare, kills hare, hare-dee-hare-hare. Reconciliation? I don't know.

You're not the only one who dislikes it methinks - copper green paint has been splashed upon it.

itfreaks me out because it looks like the hare is trying to eat the dogs head

Hmm, I thought it was a Rat and a Dog.

walking past it the other day, I thought it was modern alternative porno art catering for the society of whackos in our midst and the big rabbit (who isn't a rabbit at all) was getting it on with the other rabbit (who isn't a rabbit either). :D

there is a big bronze cow statue in Jervis Street

I thought it was a rat humping a rabbit when I first saw it. If you look closely in the tail of one of the ....creatures, there's a teeny weeny figurine of Harry Potter in it.

Stupid statue, get rid of it. Or else

I like it. But the tractor tyre on the bottom is just laziness.
