    Ok there's a few questions.

    Where's the best place to buy it IRL/USA/Jap?

    What's the rough € price of it in Jap?

    Can the Japan PSP play UMD movies from here? (I read it could somewhere, not sure though)

    Thanks,

    maiden

    I paid €285 for my JAP PSP, beware of import taxes.

    Jap PSP can play games from here, but I haven't tested any movies yet.

    Where'd you get it from, in Japan or Lik-Sang?

    At this stage you are probably just better off getting it in Ireland.

    With importing it there is a high chance of getting done for import tax which will probably push up the price a lot. Also remember a lot of shops here are doing some decent deals with games etc.

    Japan is Region 2. Same as Europe.

    But is the jap a better machine than the EU version, I hear the US have worse screens than the Jap.

    If I get a buya game can you I just copy it to the memory card and play it, or do I need to carry the games around too? I saw a guy selling a memory card on ebay full of games, wondered if this was the normal way of storing them or if he had some totally dodgy illegal card (I know it would be illegal to sell a memory stick full of games without the originals)

    How big would the average 90minute film end up in size?

    That's definetly illegal and you can only run games of the memory stick if you have the 1.50 firmware.

    I'll prob just buy here it was more between here and US but seen as US have dodgy screens........

    US = €215
    HERE = €255

    And if that means a perfect and higher quality screen it's well worth it :D

    US and EUR screens are the same - samsung.

    Only the first batch of Jap models had Sharp screens. I am selling one!
