Check out daft. Just ring up the landlord, and ask about the "untill xmas" timeframe. Daft can also help if your looking for shared accommodation for less than €450 for 4 months in Dublin City.

Well, in the end I found something through registering with the Roommate Database on daft.ie. Had quite some response on that ad... So, finally I can relax- wheehee!
