Time to get to Airport

    Hey,

    I've a flight booked for 5pm on Friday afternoon. I intend to go straight from work to the airport. Does anyone know how long it takes to get from the city centre to the airport around 3pm? Thanks!

    usually takes me about an hour sometimes a little less on the 747/787.

    At that time it shouldn't take that long, the service bus takes about 40 minutes the express would be quicker. Waiting time and travel should be no more than 45mns.

    Friday evening is a busy time, have you checked how long it will take to check in and clear security at the airport? 2 hours including travel from the city centre doesn't sound like enough to me.

    If you were in Cork it would take you 8-10mins.

    You never specified which airport or city :D

    Give yourself an hour definately. Friday afternoon traffic? Can be very busy on that route.
