    As you hopefully will already know. On Saturday the 24th of September. A group called Take Back The City is orgainsing a massive free street party. This involves bringing hundreds of people to a busy road and taking it over and having a good time with music etc..

    Well this means that there is going to be a big chunk of road empty and free for doing whatever we want. So, if any skateboarders, rollerbladers or bmxers want to ride/skate on a reclaimed road without the normal pressure of getting knocked down or getting hasseled by the police. Please please come along.

    We are meeting at 2pm at the Spire!

    is this like, organized with the city council? or are you just trying to start a big riot and get the "rebels" of the streets to help??

    Of course its not, and expect the cops to be out, in force.

    Its being scheduled to make it look like its to do with EU Car Free Day. Except its -two days after- Car Free Day. And its going to end up messy, no matter what either the organisers or the police claim; especially if they think they can close off a public street without consent.

    No its not being organised by the corpo.

    No we are not trying to start a big riot! :o

    The only riot ever in dublin during a RTS like event was caused by the cops!

    This is going to a peaceful fun, free day! Its about having a great time in town without paying money.

    Its being orgainised after car free day because we expect a lot more people to turn up on a saturday then on a thursday evening!

    Please come along!

    Anymore questions to settle your minds if you are still not sure whats going to happen etc...
