Did the guy in the arcade give you an aftercare sheet with an emergency number in case of problems?

If he didn't and you are in real bother then give snakebite a call on their emergency helpline 086 26 56 116. Dont be embarrassed, get it seen to quickly before it gets serious.
The lads in Snakebite wont see you in trouble even though it has nothing to do with them, they'll be more than glad to help, dunno what they will charge but they will normally make sure you are alright in any case.

If it is not that bad then wait until the morning and call them on their normal number (0)1 874 0011.
If you are going to call Steve or Rob at Snakebite do it soon as it is getting late, but give them a call please.

I don't think she mentioned them using a gun... neither did she mention getting the piercing done in GSA, just said it's jewlerry from there.

Then again they pierced my mate's nipple with a gun and when the piercer had to do something he left the gun hanging from his nipple... I'd imagine that hurt...

I think it's probably them. Who else would put this type of jewellery in a tragus piercing?

I can imagine that hurt like a mother****er! And could probably have torn the piercing slightly as well...

 I'm just in shock, that people actually pierce nipples with guns..
as well as the fact people actually let them...

just the thought of it, eek...it's horrible

As mentioned before GSA will pierce anything with the ol' gun and i've got a mate who spent some time in A+E who'll agree with me. Remember folks anything, best thing is they don't ask for I.D and they use a hair brush steriliser to clean the gun.

and they use a hair brush steriliser to clean the gun.

It is not possible to "clean" a gun using a hairbrush steriliser, the temperatures needed to sterilise piercing equipment properly would melt the gun.
Ridiculous, and there are still people on here who would defend their "abilities", personally I think it is because they are underage and nowhere serious would do them anyway so they are forced to defend their decision to go there.

People who allow themselves to get piereced that way almost deserve the consequences. I think it's very important to research they type of piercing and the piercer before getting anything done. OFC there are always the underage kids to think of. I'm suprised that there hasn't been any court cases from angry parents. It's crazy the amount of damage you can do with an unlucky shot with one of those guns. *shudder* I know of a guy who pierced his own nipple and ended up paralising half of his body for several hours. Fool :/

    that's the thing..people don't research things..it doesn't even cross most people's minds..they're trusting these people..they don't know half the risks..
it all comes down to the lack of bloody regulations this country has.

You shouldn't have used a "normal" earring in your tragus..
Years ago I went into GSA and they asked did I want my lip pierced with the gun. LOL My teeth would have shattered. Anywahoo... Got it done there with the needle that day and it's ok. Although I didn't go back. 17 piercings later.. It's all good

    Sara, are you under 18?
Please consider not going to GSA again and tell your friends the same, they may do piercings on under age people but they really dont know what they are doing. That'd be ok except that you see now what they have done to you and really you should go back there and complain.
In any case I hope you know now not to go back to any place ( to get a piercing done) which treats you as if you were not worth the time to tell you how to look after it in the first place.

Wait until you are old enough to go to Snakebite or a proper studio and if you already are then dont try to save money when it comes to your health and potential problems.
    Good luck.

How can it have been your fault if you didn't know? Come on be real it was their fault, they are the "professionals" ( for want of a better word) and they took your money, but provided a half assed service by not providing you with follow up information.

If you read the Piercees charter at the start of this forum you will see that an aftercare sheet is something that you should get with every piercing and it should have emergency contact information and also information on looking after the piercing. A cartilage piercing is a bit more awkward than most and if any piercing should have an aftercare sheet it is that one as it is not just through soft tissue.

I tried to stay away from lecturing you and patronising you by saying stuff like "I hope you learned your lesson" cos I was genuinely concerned that you got sorted properly, but really dont make the mistake of blaming yourself for this, you are not the one doing it to people daily and then not telling them how to look after it, the blame lies squarely with the piercer.

If you look back over the board then you will see that GSA does not come recommended and it's because things like what happened to you appear to happen too often coming out of that place.
He should be shut down......and that was yesterday

    Good luck.

    ^^couldn't agree more...

what kinda jewellery did you put in it now sara??
if it's just another normal earring, I'd suggest you go to a proper piercing shop and get some proper jewellery...
