How many SMS messages do you need to store?
The 6230i has 32MB internal memory, so it should hold thousands!

It will only hold about ~150 messages (between inbox/sent items), most phones only allow xKB for sms/mms messages. Real shame, when you have a phone like this and so much memory available to you!

That is annoying. I used to have a 6230, but can't remember if there is an option to change the memory in use from phone to mmc for texts? I know all symbian phones have it, but again, not sure about the 6230 models.

Anyway, why would you want over 150 messages at any given time?

I once had 5000ish on my N-Gage - took absolutely forever to open any new messages and agessss to delete them all eventually
