What is the marketing plan behind the Indo giving out a free book with their Saturday edition?. The book must cost more to print than the cover price of the newspaper.

well you have to take into consideration all the ads etc that are in the paper itself. besides with a "quality" paper like the sindo they need all the help they can get!

Its a series of books and only the first one was free. They hook you with the first one and thereafter the rest of the books in the series are €4.99 each
