    Recommended unlocking service !
    Hi,

I get my phones unlocked by this place - www.ho-ho-ho-mobileunlocking.com. They have a new shop open in Tallaght Village. They offer FREE return postage to Ireland and the UK. They also unlock pink phones for a tenner.

Very professional and their forum is fantastic I won a mobile there a few months back, just for winning an arcade game.

Give them a ring or email and see if they can sort you out.

    Best of luck,

    BB

Where was that posted? I can't find the post?
    Did BreadBoard post that?

Yes if you register the credit to an o2 sim by ringing (or maybe you can do it online) and registering the IMEI of the phone.

so does it matter which ya do first? unlocking or registering?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 902 ✭✭✭BreadBoard

When you buy the phone and you have it in your hand, register it. Then come on to this thread and someone if not me (:D) will give you the unlock code. You don't need to get the code from o2.

They can now be unlocked but not for free. Currently costs €50 as only one place offering it, however price should drop once others suppliers offer unlocking.

    Hi,
is it possible to unlock a motorola Razr V3 phone using the imei code, does anyone have a link to a site where I can do it,
or would be kind enough to help me out,
    Thank.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 902 ✭✭✭BreadBoard

    IMEI by network only.

If it's a V3r it will need test point unlocking.

    You can tell if it's a V3r by putting the phone into boot mode, do this by turning phone off first;

    Hold * & #.
While holding them power phone on.

If it displays Gxxxx (x = numbers) it's the r version.

    Could anyone please help me!!
Christmas present to be delivered tomorrow+I need to unlock the bloody thing!
The phone is a Nokia 6111 locked to the Meteor network.
I see that lots of folk post their IMEI no. here. Is this safe? Is it really that big a deal that someone would know your IMEI no???

    Hi All,
Need a bit of help . Stupidly bought a Sony Ericsson 810I on Christmas Eve thinking it would be easy to unlock. After a lot of searching around the Net, appears it is not so easy. Anyone know where I can get it done on Stephen's Day or does anyone on here have the necessary's? Much appreciated.
