Yeah right... I am waiting 4 weeks and 3 days today for the Unlocking code for my Sagem MYX5 -2V. I must have spent the subsidy in about the 1st 3 months and don't owe them a thing.

However I am off to the states in April all going well and was going to use it with my T-Mobile US Sim Card (it being tr-band) but they refuse to unlock it for me and are constantly telling me "oh.. just wait 48hrs" I am considering taking legal Action against them over it.

Avoid Meteor like the plague remember you are only feeding the trolls at Eircom who control them.

Anyone else have this sort of trouble with Meteor trying to get an unlocking code?

can't be done i'm afraid. phone your network and tell them you're going on a round the world trip

Requires special cable and hardware, did you ask your network for an unlocking code?

There must be some phone shops around Limerick that can do it for you?

If you are stuck you are welcome to post it to me

I am on the brink of having to take legal action against Meteor over their refusal to provide me with an NAC (Unlocking Code). I hav e been waiting 5 weeks and written a formal complaint to them as ComReg advised me to do so.

I complained bitterly yesterday and got €20 free credit off them in Compensation for my waiting. My phone is a Sagem, I wonder has anybody else had trouble getting a Sagem Unlocking Code from Meteor.

Meteor eventually unlocked my Phone today after 6 weeks and one day of a wait for the unlocking code. I wonder is it a new record?

Can the Nec N412i be unlocked with a code? It's locked to o2 ireland i think. The imei number is 357458/00/47503/6 or 357458/00147503/6. having trouble making out my own handwriting haha.
