K750i and 6230 can both be easily unlocked with the correct hard/software

K610i is new DB2020 platform and costs between €50-70 to unlock currently

bought this on ebay its locked to 3uk nokia 6233 imei 359728009570840 thanks and rang 3uk they say i have to get the person that i bought it off to ring and confirm this but hes not replying hope someone can help thanks

You might as well sell it again on eBay as only 3UK can provide the code, there is no 3rd party unlocking solution for BB5 platform phones

have got codes off people on this website but when i enter them my phone does not return anything at all.

Well the only other thing is that if you bought it from vodafone then you can go into their shop and tell them you want it unlocked and they have to oblige .

Thats for dct4 phones which i think yours is and the mcc mnc code for vodafone is the same as the one built into the programme for eircell. (its free btw)

currently trying to get my k750i unlocked by o2, who sent me a code they got from sony-ericsson, but didn't work, just gave me a 'wrong code' error. just wondering do i need a cable and the correct software, or should just the code have sufficed?

As you only have a limited number of attempts to unlock via code it would be advisable to be sure which network it is locked you, e.g. try different sims in it

thanks its meteor but when i try the codes nothing happens so it must of bein tried 5 times b4 so i take it it has to be done by cable now

If nothing happens you are entering the codes incorrectly as you will either get a code error or restriction removed message.

1. Remove SIM CARD
2. Type #
3. Then press the * key 3 times (you should get a "p")
4. Then press the * key 4 times (you should get a "w")
5. Then press the * key 2 times (you should get a "+")
6. Then enter the rest of the numeric code
7. Then press the * key 2 times(you should get a "+")
8. Then enter the last digit of the code
9. Enter: #

on a 6230i most of them need sim card inserted after a certain firmware version. insert any sim card and enter the code

Sounds like incorrect codes have been entered too many times, only way to unlock now is via hardware, where are you based?

as skearon says there may have been too many previous bad attempts

However I note you input the code with a meteor sim inside. i told you that you need to have the voda sim inserted. that's unless you've mixed up the operator the phone is locked to.

you need to get code from the network or bring to someone who can unlock it with special equipment.

Need some help.

Bought Nokia N70 off ebay locked to vodafone and thought my vodafone sim would work in it,found out today it won't.
From what i understand i need to ring vodafone UK to unlock it.

Does anybody know what details will they look for:
Name it was registered to,
Mobile Number it had,
Address registered to,
Vodafone website log-in,
IMEI,

Anybody please?
