Youl have to ring up three and ask for it, theyl give you the code if yove spent more than €130 credit if its on 3pay or served a length of contract time (i was on 3 pay when got mine unlocked) you need a credit card too if you do it over the phone because they charge an "administration fee"of €27 to get it done. Takes a day or two.

I have a sagem myX6-2 tat i need unlocking for.

Its a bit of a hand me down fone in that everyone in my family has owned it for a few months here and there. Thus nobody has spent over 130euro credit on it which meteor are requesting when i ring them up and ask them for the unlocking code.

Anyway of getting around this? I need it sorted asap

Thanks WHist. Does the operator unlock rule apply just for a creidt amount (130euro) or can I get a code if the phone has been in use for more than a year? Its just all my family have owned the phone over the last year and have all only spnet around 70euro credit! Any suggestions? How much will it cost to have to hardware unlocked?

Not 100% sure if they change anything over time, but as far as I know they will still want you to spend the balance (approx 60 euros) before they will give you the code. Unlock by hardware for Sagem...... difficult to say as they are complex phone to unlock and could be up to 30 euros.

Might be worth a call to the network and see if they would do it a bit cheaper because of age

I am planning to use it on 02 network.
