Can anyone suggest how I get an LG prada unlocked? I havent got it yet, its on its way from ebay, hopefully! . Also what is the difference between a DCT 3 and a DCT 4 phone?

If it's a Vodafone Ireland handset, only Vodafone Ireland can provide codes. Vodafone Ireland can't provide Vodafone UK, etc codes

Click on the padlock that is open (i think), its the odd one out anyway, and enter the unlocking code

Can a Sony Ericsson w880i be unlocked without going to the phone company? I bought one off ebay that was supposed to be unlocked but its not. Tried a shop and they couldn't unlock it. Some websites are claiming they can do it.

If you have a Nokia BB5 phone locked to 3UK (like Nokia E65 in my case) then you might try

They unlock it remotely by IMEI. It worked for me.

a scam to get imei numbers? Just a thought. I presume those with skill could use your valid code on a foreign network that has security measure to prevent stolen phones being used.

Well, let me tell you that in spain unlocking is in law.You can be a freelance that offer a service to different shops. Here in spain in a street there a lot of shops offering unlocking service. And in sunday markets you can see people unlocking with notebooks.
It is not legal to change IMEI in phones and of course if my thought is to use that imei there are a lot of different FORUMS with people sending their IMEIS for getting unlocking codes. I dont need to ask for them. But that's not legal.
I am going to Dublin in September and i have visiting the site for a time. I i havent seen a thread offering this to people. I just want to share this chance.
Please i hope a moderator can give me a opinion of this. If they think it is not a good idea i will respect and of course end the thread.[/QUOTE]

First of all, your IMEI number.... is that 100% correct?
Type in *#06# on your phone and compare the number with whats underneath the battery. The reason I ask, is that IMEI number seems to belong to a Nokia 3410 and not a 3120

If you have entered the wrong code 4 times, you are on your last attempt(assuming you didnt try previously)

Also, if your phone IS a 3410 and not a 3120, then you need a different calculator as its not a DCT4 phone. It is the older DCT3 type

If you get code error, its wrong, but if you have no tries left it will say something like cannot undo restriction
