    Heading to Oz for a couple of months and am looking to get my phone unlocked before I go. Vodafone want me to top up by an extra €60 before giving me the code!! Any help appreciated.

    I've got an old sony ericcson w810i, it's locked to meteor and i'm on o2 now, i want to get it unlocked, can anybody help me out?! Would prefer not to have to pay for it if possible!!

    You can get it unlocked for free when you've spent €130+ on your account. Have you rang Meteor and tried asking them for the unlock code?

    I was on a bill pay with meteor when i got it. I cancelled my account with 2 or 3 months left but i had changed phones a few times since then, i just really like the phone and want to go back to it! I emailed meteor but they werent very helpful at all!

    This type of phone can only be unlocked from your phone provider, or from an unlocking shop. Its a newer type of security that cant be unlocked free online

    Not the right code. Where did you get the code? It cant be obtained free online, o2 can provide it or a shop could unlock it using software

    cant get it from 02 as it was bought from relative that wont ring them for me
    how much do the shops charge approx and where is the best
