I’m looking for a bit of help unlocking a Sony Ericsson K608i . I recently bought one for myself on ebay and got it over from England. The phone was unlocked but branded with the 3G logo, all is working fine with the phone now. A few weeks later I bought another for my girlfriends birthday that was locked, I’ve been trying everywhere to get this phone unlocked and it has been in the shop for the last month with the fella saying his waiting on a file to unlock it but by the sounds of things this is not going to happen. This is the second shop I’m after bringing it to and my girlfriend also rang 3G in England but the said they couldn’t give out the code to unlock it because she didn’t buy it or something like that. Any help with unlocking this phone would be great because it’s driving us crazy now.

6270-don't know it. not if its the same software platform at the n70 (bb5)

and yes, vodafone do like to pimp out their phones a lot

Hi I was looking at buying a nokia 6060 in CPW.
This phone is only on the meteor network.
Im currently with O2 and
dont really want to switch to meteor network as I use O2s email and free web text alot in work and if Im away so it saves me on the texting.
Is it possible for me to unlock form meteor network and continue with O2?

Commander... I put in my vodafone sim on hte ngage, typed in my pin no then it say sim card rejected. Then i typed in the code above and it comes up '' not allowed'' What am i doing wrong? should i be typing it in with my O2 card?

iirc, it says not allowed when all the tries are used up. have you tried codes before?
