    Hmm, I keep getting code error. Ive done it around 2/3 times now. Im scared of blocking my phone!


    Am I doing it right?? Just putting the code into the main screen of my phone and pressing he call button?

    Put a non accepting sim in the phone and enter the code when it asks to undo restriction.

    Ill be heading over to the carphone warehouse to take a look at this phone. Should

    I'm assuming it's locked to Vodafone Ireland? If so they will give you the unlock code when you have spent €130 on the account. Ring Vodafone and ask them.

    Do you know if anyone has tried unlocking a Nokia 2310 from www.unlock123.com?
    In this site you have to pay but they claim they can send a working code for this model.

    AFAIK it can't be unlocked, but you can flash it with Nokia 1600 firmware and it would be unlocked, but you'll lose the Radio function.

    For anyone who buys a UK vodafone phone n wants to get it unlocked(ie. The BH5 ones that only they can unlock) all u need to do is get a UK rtg simcard, put £20 credit on it n ring them n they'll email u the code..

    Got a Nokia 6234, came with a new sim.. bought £20 credit on ebay for £16. Got my code by email 3 days after ringing vodafone, really good service.

    Me too... Vodafone UK are so helpfull... much much better than over here. When i put my meteor sim in all the vodafone crap was gone.. an added bonus

    Have you tested to see if the phone is actually locked? Try a o2 or Meteor sim in the phone. Let me know how it goes. ;)

    Congratulations on unlocking the phone.

    Found out by email yesterday they only unlock by email for free if the phone is

    over a year old, mine doesn't qualify.

    Cant top up from the website or by phone as a creditcard with valid postcode

    needed. So haveing a look on ebay found the top up credit.

    Let you know how i get on.
