I think you'd need to bring this to an unlocking shop, I don't think you can get a code for that free.

Hi guys,

In preperation for my imminent departure to New Zealand, i got my Sony Ericsson V600i phone unlocked from Vodafone but now i don't seem to be able to text anyone with an 086 number. Also, when i go into 'select network' i used to be able to select Meteor, Vodafone, 3 or O2 but now only Vodafone comes up.

Is my phone screwed? I could go back to the shop on Moore Street, Dublin and say it to him but have i got any leverage in this? Or am i simply being a bit stupid and have to change something?

I can use my O2 sim card no problem and when i search for networks with my O2 card inserted, they all come up no problem.

Any ideas?

If your O2 SIM works the phone is unlocked and pickups the network, what networks display when you have an o2 sim in ?

Would you have enabled 3g only mode ?

I'd suggest bringing it to an unlocking shop to have unlocked as it should have unlocked on the first code, #pw+194 264 711 274 773+1# ... It must be hardlocked now.
