SLI heaven?

whats the story with this? there are V2's you can SLI, and some you cant. I have a Diamond Monster 3DII and I want to stick it in a new machine in SLI configuration. Do i need to shell out more than i should have to for another Diamond or can I get any board?...since I have the reference drivers.

Mixing boards is a bit of a bollix I hear but it can be done...

If you are going to splash out on another board make sure its cheap i.e less than 40 bills as a V3 has significantly better performance than Dual V2s

If you're getting a new machine, why not just sell the Monster board and get a TNT/TNT2/Voodoo3/etc./etc.?? I'm sure the new machine has an AGP slot...
