This is probably been asked before but
anyone know why the Mmmad store was closed down.

There is a notice or somthin posted on the left side of the shop
that I saw when passing in the bus. My girlfriend also said she saw
builder like workers in their working on the interior.

I know before that the limerick public were kicking up about the place selling
drug or mainly smoking related things like bongs/fag papers/lighters etc
aswell as adult themed stuff. but surely it could not be closed because of that.

There are other stores around ireland including other Mmmad stores that sell the
same range of stuff and are not closed and have never been closed down and
are quite sucessful. Isnt their a mmad in Cork and there is Asha in Dublin
some other store in Galway that all sell the same range of stock.

I liked the store, loads of things in there. And yes thats why it closed down other traders in the city rejected it!
Well the place did seem very guyish, having a female member of staff might give more of a push for girls to go in too!!!
Loads of places do this, usually they interview u before saying no (so they dont look in the wrong) he just didnt wanna mess with ur time i guess!

There female staff (lots) when I went in.

The woman staff when I went in there were fantastic looking.
They had about 3 male staff and about 5-6 woman.

Very sexy and nice looking but the only off putting thing was it was like
they were planted at various parts of the store not to help you but
to watch what you in case ya tried to swipe anything.

As a gadget shop it sold lots of stuff you could only ever get online
at roughly the same prices. I did not see the need for the adult or smoking
sections but I guess thats were they made their money.

Someone else told me it closed down becuase the shop in Cork had
one of those mini-motorbikes go on fire and burn the rider but I dunno
if it holds any truth in the rumor.

Limerick needs a good gadget shop. Maplin and all those places are geared
towards more electronics. A shop where someone can go in an Wow at all
the various tid bits is great.

P.S, that place was kinda expensive, but it was really cool (espically for window shopping :) )
