Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It was last night in a friendly against Zaragoza. I'm not sure what kind of a friendly, as teh majority of Real's team would be on international duty this midweek. Probably some sort of reserves game, but with a trophy.

Didnt look to be his fault!!!

Real Madrid defender Jonathan Woodgate scored another own goal as he continued his return to match fitness but at least he can take heart from coming through a friendly with Real Zaragoza unscathed.

The former England international played the full 90 minutes for a Real Madrid XI in a 2-2 draw, with Zaragoza claiming the 35th edition of the Carlos Lapetra Trophy on penalties.

Woodgate deflected a shot into his own net on his long-awaited Madrid debut against Athletic Bilbao last month before being sent off.

And this time the 25-year-old, who was partnered in central defence by Spain international Ivan Helguera, was unfortunate to see a rebound come off him and cross his own goal-line in the 19th minute.
