Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey, If as tcal does you link to quite a few boards threads/posts in your blog you may be interested in this new quicktag button I made for wordpress.

    You can see an example of it in action here:

    http://tcal.net/archives/2005/09/21/new-comreg-report-on-irish-broadband/

    See the little boards icon on the link at the end? That's all it does, but I like it.

    To install, backup quicktags.js in your wp-admin folder first.

    Download this zip file: boardsit.zip

    Put the boardsit.gif on your server somewhere, and note the url.

    Rename quicktags.txt to quicktags.js and replace the one in your wp-admin (you backed up the original just in case right?) and then open the file in a text editor. Find the line up the top saying:

    var blink = "http://tcal.net/uploads/boardsit.gif";

    And change that url to where you put the boardsit.gif file on your server.

    Save and upload the quicktags.js file to your server in the wp-admin folder and thats it. When you go to write a new post you should have a 'Boards Link' button which works just like a normal link but auto inserts the cute little boards icon in for you every time.

    Any trouble let me know.

    One note is the little boards icon is transparent, but may look a bit rubbish on darker background colours, sure you can replace it with something else if ya like. Depending on the font you use you may wish to adjust the pixels above & below the graphic too so it looks well.

    If the new button isn't showing up on your write post page, hit ctrl-f5 to make sure the browser hasn't got the old quicktags.js file in cache.

    Looks good, might put it onto my own blog when I have access to better net facilities.
