Alternative iPod Repair

Is there anywhere else apart from aple to get my ipod repaired, don't mind paying its just that i can't register for some reason and the serial is registered by someone else(i didn't rob it) or something so thety won't do it over the phone thanks

According to Apple support the following companies repair Ipoos

MacTivate, Dublin 15 - 8224488
Image Supply Systems, Cambden Row, Liberty Lane - 4782520
Type Tech - 500900 (not sure bought that number)
