Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Holes in shirt cuffs - WHY?

This has been bugging me for ages; anybody who knows and can put me out of my misery, please do.

You get a fancy 'dress' shirt with NO buttons on the cuffs, but there are four holes, and the idea is that you fold back the cuff, insert set of cuff links and away you go. Brilliant!

Take a bog standard shirt and you just insert button into hole on cuff and off you trot. However, on a lot of shirts, there's a hole on both sides of the cuff.

WHY? It's not like you can get the dress shirt effect on a 'no-fold' cuff, now is it. And even if you didn't care, you'd have to go to the trouble of removing offending buttons, right?

Or is the idea that you can buy cuffs to attach to normal shirts...like you used be able to do with collars yonks ago...
