I have been doing a bit of research looking at Satellite bb packages...

    The two most interesting are

    Eircom Satellite One-Way and

    Sky DSL (www.teles-skydsl.co.uk)

Does anyone have either of these?

Is Sky DSL difficult to install?

Also I would especially be interested to know if it is possible to download MP3s or Podcasts via this method?

One way satelite isn't much use as you still need a phone line to upload (even a request for a site is upload) don't you?
Saw an eircom demonstration of 2 way satelite during the summer, speed was ok (demo however!!), latency on VOIP a nuisance.

Way dear though, even the one way when you're still using your phone line for upload.

Wireless better option. Have you looked for supply???

Nodedb.com has maps with most, but not all nodes for wireless
