Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Shipping from Modcloth goes by weight I think. I think they used to have a flat rate of $26, then it went up to something ridiculous like $45, then back down. I'm fairly certain it's done by weight now though.

    Yes, they do.

Just select 'Visa' as your payment card/payment option.

    It's always worked for me.

www.directcosmetics.com is a brilliant site. Great reductions on loads of branded products. I bought suncream there on Monday that's usually €27.99 in my local chemist.Got it on this site for £3.99.It arrived today and it's perfect.Delivery for 4 large items cost me £4.

www.fragrancex.com for perfumes. Bought 100 ml bottle of armani diamonds for about 50 pounds sterling with free delivery. Bargain! Was living up north at the time so not 100% sure if they deliver here but says on site deliver worldwide. Delivery took about 10 working days.

Do either of these websites charge tax/vat/duty when the items reach Ireland? As all the prices are in USD.

Are you absolutely sure the stuff from this site is genuine but be careful on ebay etc!
Are you absolutely 100% sure it is genuine? Everything is so so cheap on the site. Also, is there a charge for import tax/vat/duty/whatever it is called when the products reach Ireland?

    Thank you.

As they are a U.S based website, did you have to pay tax when they came into Ireland? If an order was placed with them now, would tax have to be paid when they reach Ireland?

    Thanks.

When you buy off american websites they post it by Fedex so yes you do pay some sort of invoice tax and if you dont pay it within a certain amount of days then they keep sending you out letters saying they will bring you to court etc.

Is there any good online shop that accepts Laser? I find it very hard rto find shops like that because they are only taking credit cards or pay pal.

Asos is probably the best one Janine, they stock a huge range of stuff

Anyone any recommendations for shops that sell mens casual footwear, like Adidas classics etc. Somewhere within the EU as i don't want to be getting stung with customs tax.

Wouldn't trust it. If you have a look at the "About Us" section, it's not of the standard I would expect from a genuine company.

Then I did a little google and I found this.

    So stay away.

I found this website on google, but I don't know if the items there are genuine or not, because the comments on it is very good!

    Here is the website: www.shop2003.com

Would stay away if I were you. The general rule of thumb is that if it sounds too good to be true, then it is. I personally wouldn't trust anyone selling a "Brand New Tiffany's 18ct Gold Ring" for $8.

    www.asos.com
    www.burton.co.uk
    www.nextdirect.com
    www.footyasylum.com
    www.selfridges.com

Those are the only sites which I browse/buy from, but I really do need more.

[edit] also their own brand i.e. Herring Shoes - made by Loake

[edit2] most of the shoes are quality leather sole types; range of sizes good too

Nice looking wingtips - heavy brogues are always good.

    Hi

can anyone recommend an online site to buy men's jeans.
I couldn't find anything I liked in any of the bricks and mortar places I went. I also thought they were overpriced for the most part.

Ideally I would like a nice pair for 50euro or less - is that too much to ask? I have some nice pairs I got for 30euro or so years ago.

    Thanks

Has anyone bought online from American eagle? I know they deliver to here my worry is it getting stuck in some depot (happened to me before with a different american site).
I have no issue paying the tax on anything I buy I just want to make sure it gets to me!
    Thanks

I can't access that site. "Wholesale designer goods" sounds like bad news to me though. If something seems to good to be true, it usually is.
