PVR to replace VCR

I would like a PVR to replace my mother's VCR. She'd only be watching the basic terrestrial NTL channels. I would like an EPG though. An inbuilt DVD would be Nice to but not essential. Can anyone recommend a box?

I bought a liteon 160 gig recorder. It's great. Has a built in tuner if the NTL is coming on a co-ax cable. DV, Scart and RF inputs.
