I thought i would post this from RTE2s Autumn Schedule:

LOST
The first series of the fast-paced
and dark survival thriller has
been a huge succe ss. Running
exclusively first on RTÉ TWO ,
Lost ave rages 300,000 viewe rs
per episode and has been among
the most successful
programmes in each territory
that it is broadca st in.
[TARGET AUDIENCE] Adults / Adults
15-34

This seems to indicate that RTE2 will be running Lost Season 2 this Autumn.
Anyone know exactly when ?

yes but I'm very lazy!! PLEASE!! When is Lost series 2 airing on RTE2!! I simply cannot wait for it!! this is gonna suxk. I'm so obsessed with the show that I won't want it to end..EVER!!

At the end of the repeat tonight,the guy said something along the lines of "Season 2 of Lost which just aired to record audiences in America will be shown here on RTE 2 'in the new year'. Usually that means January,but you can't be sure with RTE.

its march next year as far as i know from my moles in RTE! But an exact schedule date has not been put in yet

Ive heard Lost season 2 is to be screened on RTE in January. I've already seen the first episode of season 2! its awesome!!

Sure he could be bluffing anyway and to be honest it was a crap spoiler. It didn't do anything for me.

Took this from Digital Spy but supposedly Lost is starting Monday 6 Feb @ 9pm.
Thats a lot earlier than most people expected, although it is hard to know how much this source can be trusted, as he does not say his source.

Exactly how accurate is this post. I have emailed RTE and hopefully I will get a positive reply. Febuary wuld be great for it to come back meaning it will finish quite close to America when the season ends. Its the most buzzed about show in the country Desperate Housewives doesn't seem to match up to Losts buzz. BTY, does anyone know how well Des.Hous. did in the ratings on Tuesday

lost will be on channel 4 in the "spring". Just announced it there at the end of series 1 with some s2 footage.

Odd, I got an e-mail back form info@rte.ie, and this is what it said

Hi Tim,

The second series of Lost begins on RTE 2 on Monday 6th
February at 9.00 pm with a double episode and will
continue on Mondays thereafter at 10.00 pm.

Its defo Feb 6th. Double opening epsiode from 9pm... and your gonna need it... S2EP1 is delightfully weird!!

I have it marked into my diary with permanant black marker!!!

TIP:: turn off all the lights in the room before it starts and be in complete darkness for it.. it adds to the lost-sperience
