Ok firstly I would like to apologise if this is similar to the earlier post by billymitchell but my situation is a little different.
I am interested in breaking into sports journalism.I have recently returned from the US where I completed my Master in Sports Management at Xmas.I have limited experience so far, covering sports teams for the campus newspaper and writing 200 word articles for a daily e-newsletter addressing the business side of football.
I am now investigating ways of pursuing the NCTJ exams as I don't have any other journalism qualification. However I can not afford to return to college yet again so I am looking at an online course run by a journalism trainer called Cleland Thom (www.ctjt.biz). Unfortunately this course is not accredited by the NCTJ.
My question is this:will the pre-entry exams be sufficent to start a career in journalism?Does it matter that the course is not accredited,do editors look for this?
I would be very grateful for guidance anyone could provide.

I'm really not sure what the correct answer is, however, I would think because the course isn't accredited, that it wouldn't count. I think you should talk to a school counselor about it; I'm sure they would know. Good luck in all you do, friend!!
