Bar Italia on the Quays is a pretty good one and I have enjoyed the meals I have had there. Others would include Steps of Rome and Pasta Fresca on Chatham St.

Boccaccio on Dame Street is pretty good. Nice food and friendly staff.

I'll second Pasta Fresca and Trastevere on Temple Bar Square is nice.

The one beside Meeting House Square, cannot remember the name for the life of me but the second word might begin with B, is easily the best I visited in Dublin. It may have closed/burned down in the meantime though.

    Il Baccaro?

Il Baccaro has gone downhill. Ar Vicoletto is just accross the road and probably one of the best. The unicorn is probably the best, but horrendously pricey.
