Does IBB block SkypeOut?

Seems like they do. I get internal error #9408 whenever I try SkypeOut on a computer connected to IBB. If I switch over to ADSL, it works fine. Has anyone else seen this?

I use SkypeOut on IBB. Only cavet is, it's been a while since I used it.

i know for a fact that IBB dont block anything at all. u cud be gettin that error coz ur pings are too high. try setting the timeout higher on skype.

In fairness your talking about Skype, it works on dialup for heavans sake
pings would have to be pretty bad for it not to work....PC config maybe?

Never had a problem using Skype out on IBB that is on the Breeze.

Only one thing is that if your register a new Skype account it usually takes a while and then you have to try it again a few times before it does on some connections

Has it worked for people on Ripwave Service?

I am on ripwave, and I can get some pretty appalling pings. Tempted to try out some kind of VoIP product (like an IM version) but haven't tried it yet.

Wouldn't hold my breath though.

I can't log into my skype since today. I'm on IBB Breeze 2Mb

Skypes servers have been having some problems over the past 24 hours. More on there site about it. Loads of people reporting problems logging in or password problems.
