28-09-2005 1:17pm#1hey was wondering can anyone ans questions for me,i have my clit hood pierced and want to know ive heard so many people talking about piercings growing out,does that one grow out?and the piercing the madonna,what is that like,where is it?can anyone think of a good piercing that wont be too noticable but is a good one,like shocking factor,bar nipple(just cant!!)or clit cuz have that any my navel done.thanx....................

thats a modonna (also called a monroe) cos they both have freckles there...
i'm a boy so i know feck feck all about clit piercings...have been with a couple of girls with it and they had no hassles with it...get another genital piercing no???0 -

It's not too painful, it's a relatively quick piercing..it's sharp when the needle goes through, but it's not unbearable, oddly enough, i never even knew that the jewlerry had gone in and when i was told i was finished, i was like, 'what thats it?but it didn't hurt?' lol...although, the pain never really put me off, it was more the embarrassment.but piercers are used to it,etc...
and it's fast healing too...it was never sore afterwards, or anything, i was advised not to have sex for 3 weeks...but it basically cleans itself..everytime you go to the toilet, you're urine will clean it, so it's handy out and relatively easy to heal.
Just go do it, don't think about it too much and you'll be fine

Check out the piercer if you haven't had anything done there before. I had a really bad piercer when I had my tongue done. Don't look if squemishThe needle got stuck halfway through my tongue and she had to start ramming it through about eight times before it went through my tongue. I bled for ages afterward.But it healed up alright in the end.
When I went to get my hood done I went to a different piercer, although the 1st place didn't do it I'd never have gone back there again. I was told I had to completely shave beforehand and that there was a 50/50 chance I would lose all feeling in the area. Obviously I didn't go through with it there either.
The place I eventually got it done in was much better. I had researched it properly and the piercer told me the same things I had found out so it was obvious he knew his stuff. Getting the hood done is one of the easiest piercings there is. It is a piercing through a small piece of skin rather than any muscle or cartledge. It's relativly painless, practically painless and it heals up easily.
Wear a skirt to get it done, and comfie underwear. If you'd be more comfortable with either a male/female piercer request it at the start. Talk to the piercer and if you aren't comfortable go elsewhere. Afterward avoid very tight trousers or underwear for a few days (and cylcling on a bumpy road :eek: ). Don't have sex for 2/3 weeks, by then it should be completely healed and one of the best things you've ever done. 0 -

Hidi ho, my first piercing (other than my lobes done when i was 7 so i don't count them) was my hood. That was in January 2000 and there ain't no sign of it growin out, I have a barbell in it, sometimes I wear a barbell that has a ring round one of the balls, dunno wha type of jewlerry that is but anyhoo... ye sound a bit like myself with the whole shock factor and piercings being unoticeble at first sooo I would recomend what I was told was the frenum, its the little bit of dangly flesh under your top lip, I got it done in oz so dunno if it can be done over here or wha anyway I had a little ring in it that sat snugly under my lip resting up against my 2 front teeth and was only noticeable when I smiled broadly, i have a little bar in it now so you can only see it if i show it, I mean you can't even see it when i smile. You'd wanna double check the name of though, like i said i was told its called the frenum but it was an aussie that did the piercing, he may have been stoned and i have a vague memory of the frenum being a penis piercing so don't just walk into a pierciers and say hey "I want my frenum done" in case its something completely different.
