Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lua Lua out for several weeks with malaria

Beats injury by Playstation any day.

Very bad news for Pompey and their under-pressure manager Perrin.

[edit]read all the way to the end, Yakubu got it twice before moving to Boro, must be the balmy south coast conditions...[/edit]

Not one of the more comman injuries thats for sure. Pompey will struggle and i can see Perrin getting kicked to the side if their current form continues

I feel sorry for the guy. They played some good football at Bolton on Saturday but were undone by a great goal. I thought they deserved at least a point.

that guy came in unknown and will go out into the managerial abyss. He came with nothing, has done nothing and will leave accomplishing nothing. But then its a small club with no assests.

The guy was the former manager of Marseille one of the biggest clubs in French football, and was let go for non-soccer related reasons! He also brought Troyes from nowhere to Le Championnat and Europe!

Apparently he was eating a lasagne and somehow pulled a hamstring - it has to be a world first.
Coventry boss Micky Adams on defender Andrew Whing's bizarre injury.
