Snake Eater save file on Subsistence?

Does anyone know is a MGS3: Snake Eater save game file likely to work on MGS3: Subsistence when it comes out? I rented Snake Eater and completed it and I want to buy Subsistence and play it through some more times, but keep my prize goodies from Snake Eater. Did MGS2: Sons of Liberty saves work on MGS2: Substance?

Don't know about Subsistence and saves - but I finished Snake Eater two days ago. Wasn't the ending just class? Everything from the battle with Volgin onwards was just a rush. Loved it all.
