    Hi,

I bought an item off a UK seller, the package was sent Wednesday 28th September, by 'Airsure', supposedly this form of post takes three to four days to reach Eire, but when I type in the parcel tracking number all I get is:

"We have received your item and it is being processed for delivery abroad."

So its still over there and not been put on a flight yet? Or is that just a general message and it is in transit?

    Any help appreciated.

I had a "royal mail interntional sign-for" posted to me last Friday and it arrived on Tuesday. The same person sent me a similar package on Tuesday and it hasn't arrived yet. The post is in a dire state as regards foreign inbound mail at the moment - things are taking twice as long as they used to - one of my packets from Play took 24 days.

I received 2 international signed for packages from Manchester on Thursday. These were posted in Manchester on Monday. It used to take 48hrs, so yep, international inbound post seems to be problematic at the moment.

My colleague also sent some stock from Manchester with Royal Mail Euro 48 a while ago, which is supposed to take 48hrs...and it took 6 days...GLS handled it this side whereas I had expected An Post to deliver it and I had to chase them up myself...appalling...

    You'll probably get it monday.
Most "cheaper" UK trackings on items to Ireland only track the UK part as they are either handed over to an post when they get here or another courier who assign a new IE tracking number or none.

Phone royal mail with the tracking and they should be able to tell you if it's reached Dublin.
