An Overview of the ADSL situation ?

    Well theres alot of posts about it and alot of info flying around, would it be possible to get an overview of whats happening/happened?

    I emailed the adsl deparment but ive gotten no reply and its been two days, I also rang their adsl info line (1800 512 128) and i was on hold for 45 minutes listening to that REALLY annoying on hold song and just ended up hanging up in complete frustration.

    As im new to this board (irelandoffline i mean) im still unsure of the exact situation and im sure others are aswell. All info is greatly appriecated.

    I must admit that when I phoned I got to speak to someone almost at once. With regard to e-mail it can take them up to a week to respond.

    Regarding information ... your best bet is to wait until later this week when it is expected that Eircom will publish details of their ADSL offerings.
