Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thanks a million for all your replies, a lot of mixed opinions here I think :D

I have decided NOT to ask beforehand as it's not compulsory!

Cheers for all your thoughts, they were very useful!

Oh, one specific situation, in the days gone by, where you did have to ask permission, was if she was underage. You had to ask permission to court her.

    Best of luck livEwirE.
